TICKET PURCHASER TERMS OF SERVICE

By registering and making payment successfully for products of Forbes Vietnam events, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms, conditions and policies stated in this document.

Products of Forbes Vietnam events stated in this document include:

  • Tickets to Forbes Vietnam events;
  • Package of a ticket to attend the event and a one-year magazine subscription;
  • Package of a ticket to attend the event and a two-year magazine subscription.
A. TICKET PURCHASE AND TRANSFER

1. To attend a Forbes Vietnam event, a guest must be at least 18 year-old register their information as required, purchase a ticket, and show up with an e-ticket (includes QR code/ ticket code) sent via email at the entrance.

2. Ticket can only be issued after the payment for order is successfully confirmed by Forbes Vietnam via email.

3. Confirmation on payment and ticketing process by Forbes Vietnam might take 01-03 working days. An E-ticket with a QR code will be sent to the participant’s email address.

4. A ticket code / a QR code on an e-ticket email is only valid for one-time check-in of one attendee. The purchaser is self-responsible for securing the ticket information including the ticket code / QR code. Forbes Vietnam reserves the right to not be responsible for any cases concerning stolen ticket code / QR code.

5. Attendees should bring along a name card / ID card in case Forbes Vietnam needs any verification on ticket information. Attendee’s information on name card / ID card should match his / her information registered on the ticket.

6. Transferring ticket might be valid in certain Forbes Vietnam events and it requires approval of Forbes Vietnam. This process can only be made 10 (ten) days prior to the event’s date by sending a request to email events@forbes.vn with an update on attendee’s information. Forbes Vietnam will contact you to confirm whether ticket can be transferred. After the mentioned date, Forbes Vietnam reserves the right to decline the request for transferring ticket(s). In case ticket transferring is approved by Forbes Vietnam, ticket can be only transferred and updated attendee’s information one time.

7.Ticket of an event cannot be changed or reserved for other events of Forbes Vietnam.

B. REFUND POLICY FOR EVENT TICKETS

1. Requests for purchased ticket to the Forbes Vietnam event should be made 10 days before the event’s date. A service charge of Forbes Vietnam, which includes transaction fees, tax (if any) and other additional fees relating to this refund, will be directly subtracted from the total refund.

  • The service charge of Forbes Vietnam equals 10% of the total payment for the exact order of ticket types you previously purchased.
  • The service charge of Forbes Vietnam includes transaction fees, tax (if any) and other additional fees relating to this refund.

2. To request a refund of ticket, claimant is required to provide a complete set of refund documents to the email address events@forbes.vn, as follows:

  • Two-side photos of the ID/Passport of the refund claimant
  • Payment Order/Payment Receipt for purchase order(s) that requires a refund.
  • The successful payment confirmation email from Forbes Vietnam (sent from event@forbes.vn)
  • Bank account information of the refund claimant

We will verify the refund claimant’s information and the previous payment information. A refund can only be processed if refund documents are fully verified by Forbes Vietnam.

3. Forbes Vietnam has the right to decline requests if:

  • Request(s) for refunds after the mentioned date in item 1 of B. Refund policy for event tickets.
  • Request(s) for refund is not sent along with a complete set of refund documents as required by Forbes Vietnam mentioned in item 2 of B. Refund policy for event tickets.
  • Forbes Vietnam cannot contact to verify the information of request sender/claimant and the purchaser of the ticket accurately.

4. For a Combo of an event ticket and 1-year subscription and a Combo of an event ticket and 2-year subscription, only event tickets are refundable but not the magazine subscriptions.

5. The refund process may vary within 30 days, starting from 01 (one) day after the event ends and your refund documents are fully provided by the claimant and verified by Forbes Vietnam. The refund amount will be automatically processed by bank transfer from Forbes Vietnam.

6. After the refund is successfully processed by Forbes Vietnam, the VAT invoice issued for this order (if any) will automatically be canceled and no longer be valid.

C. REQUEST FOR VAT INVOICE

1. Requests for VAT invoice(s) of your purchase for event ticket(s) should be made after the payment is successfully confirmed by Forbes Vietnam via email. Requests should be sent at https://bit.ly/ForbesVN_VAT.

2. Requests for VAT invoice(s) will only be processed starting from the day when ticket(s) of that event is on sale until the end of 03 (three) working days after the event ends. Forbes Vietnam has the right to decline late requests sent after the mentioned date.

3. VAT invoice will be sent to your registered email address within 7-10 working days. If you have not received the VAT invoice after 10 days from the day of request, don’t hesitate to contact us via (+84) 0909 344 841 (Event hotline) for support at the earliest.

D. OTHER

1. Forbes Vietnam reserves the right to make a final decision if any unexpected cases have not been mentioned in this document.
