Women Summit 2023 The theme: Leading with Purpose
The annual Forbes Vietnam Women’s Summit is the largest event of the year in Vietnam that discusses important issues for the development and progress of women in Vietnam. This not-to-be-missed inspirational event is for women who aspire to excel in their career and personal life.
Vietnamese society has witnessed a dramatic economic transformation in a generation. The Government has signed international commitments on gender equality, and participated in developing a gender equality legal framework that is widely recognized for its comprehensiveness. Women’s increasingly active participation in political, social and economic activities has been recorded. However, there is still a lot of work ahead for us to eliminate barriers to progress and narrow the gender gap in all fields, from governance, labor, agriculture, business, transport and connectivity, urban development, family life, social protection, migration and climate change.
This keynote will update the reality on the topic of gender in Vietnam, in the context of industries where women’s workforce participation has seen changes due to the negative impact of the pandemic.
Flexibility is the key to resilience, not only in physical but spiritual health. It is also the thing that transforms business operations spectacularly, leading to their adaptability and openness to new opportunities.
This panel discussion will feature female leaders from some of the biggest corporations in Vietnam sharing their approaches to agility to navigate the current uncertain nature of business and beyond.
