Nominations are now open for Forbes Vietnam’s ESG Leaders 2026 list, spotlighting 50 of the most impactful companies across the country that are driving a more sustainable and inclusive future.
In recent years, Vietnam has emerged as one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing economies while committing to net-zero emissions by 2050—a pledge first made at COP26 that continues to shape national policy and investment priorities. Capital is increasingly flowing into renewable energy, green finance, and climate innovation, supported by major national strategies such as the Power Development Plan VIII, which targets up to 73GW of solar and 28GW of wind capacity by 2030. At the same time, the scale of the transition remains significant. Vietnam is estimated to require up to $368 billion to achieve its net-zero goals, placing pressure on both public and private sectors to mobilize capital and improve ESG transparency. ESG is no longer optional: it is increasingly a prerequisite for accessing global supply chains and attracting foreign investment.
Following the success of Forbes Vietnam Sustainable Summit 2025, the Forbes Vietnam ESG Leaders 2026 list will spotlight companies turning ambition into measurable impact, building solutions in an environment where conditions are far from perfect. We are looking to honor organizations with clarity of purpose and the resolve to act.

As we evaluate candidates for the Forbes Vietnam ESG Leaders 2026 list, we consider the following::

Shows potential for scale, replication, or long-term systemic impact.
