Phuong Hoang joined SSI in 2007, and formerly managed the sectors of Steel, Pharmaceutical, and Oil & Gas. She was appointed the head of Institutional Research and Investment Advisory in 2011, and is now responsible for private equity. During 2013-20, she was named Best Country Analyst and Best Strategist – Vietnam, and SSI won in many categories at AsiaMoney Brokers Poll, including Best Country Research – Vietnam. She has an MSc in Information Management & Finance from the University of Westminster, UK.
